Your protection

As seller: Individual

We do not require street address from you, because of your security. For example, if someone wants to steal some car, or part of the car, providing the street address to those kind of people it’s not good idea. But we need the zip code , city , and county which is wider area and gives you some security. We are talking about cars, and buying a car is little bit different that buying a small things like phones, so we believe that for potential buyer, wider area is just enough so can get idea where is the car. If the buyer contact you, it’s up to you where will you eventually meet.

As seller: Company/Car dealer

By default, we are forbidding any marketing agency to use your phone number to call you or send you promotional material in any kind.

Also

  • We DON'T store any credit card information in our system.
  • We will never sale your data to any other party for commercial purposes.
  • We will never show your email address publicly on the website. However, if someone contact you via contact form, and you reply, you are actually showing your email address to the person who contacted you.

Licence plates

We don’t require them. If you want, you can blur the licence plates from the image with special software like photoshop, paint, etc. We will also introduce our software for blurring the plates in future.

Data removal

If you remove your ad, the data will be removed completely including description, title, images. Some info can be used by us, for example an Audi A4 Diesel from 2010 average price like XXXX kr, so we can build statistics, but in those statistics, we don’t need to know the seller , or any private information from the seller. Just pure technical data about the car.

Other

Avoid accepting and communication with strange people, especially from abroad, and with poor language. However, there are a lot of people in Sweden who does not speak swedish well. So it is possible to receive email in english or not so good swedish, with full legitimate.

As potential buyer:

As a buyer, you should be careful and analytical when looking for a car. Consider a lot of things when purchasing a used car. For example, year of production, passed kilometers, equipment, owners, check the taxes that you will pay for that car. Talk with friends who knows more about cars. You can also discuss in the comment section for some model. Be careful with offers that are to good to be true.

  • Check how much tax will you pay for the car
  • Ask for test drive
  • Never pay in advance

Use of data

  • Use of data is only allowed for personal use on the website.
  • Parsing the data from other automated or manual software is forbidden.

Responsibility

Your responsibility

  • It's your responsibility to provide correct information.
  • When you publish an ad, and if you don’t know some information that is required, please check some other cars that are same as yours, and see if that helps. In case you can’t find, please contact us, and we will help you with that
  • When contacting someone via contact form, you are required to provide correct information about your name, your email address
  • In case we realize you abuse the rules, you can be banned for future use of Avtooglasi

Our responsibility

  • We will protect you as customer as much as we can
  • As stated in the data protection, we will protect your data and not share it with third parties
  • We can't take responsibility for incorrect data provided by the sellers. However, we will act in case such cases are discovered
  • Keep the site clean of froud ads, viruses or any other malicious software
  • We will cooperate with police in case of frauds, or criminal activities

Obligations

There is no strict obligations between you and Avtooglasi.Except for the responsibilities and data protection. Usage of Avtooglasi is by free will. If you want, you can use it or not. For any disputes, we will talk with you

Website uptime

We will try to keep the website up all the time, but sometimes we need to improve our equipment, upgrade the website, so there are going to period of the website non functioning

Email

We will never send you non required emails or spam. The only emails that you can receive from us are:

  • When registering, you will get confirmation email (You must receive one email)
  • When forgetting your password. You can receive new password by email (On your request)
  • If you subscribe to our newsletter. Periodical promotions (Optional)
  • If you create an alert to be notified about new ads (Optional)

Some email providers are very strict about automatic emails. Sometimes, our emails can arrive in your spam folder. In case you can’t find our email in your inbox, please check your spam folder, and mark it as non spam, to avoid future marking as spam, and to help us build better services

  • The data that is added like ads, images is owned by the sellers
